As a florist who genuinely loves and appreciates real fresh cut flowers— I had to put a lot of thought into how to make these dried pieces stand up to their fierce competition.

So as a self-proclaimed “flower person”, when do I prefer dried arrangements over gorgeous and fragrant fresh blooms?

I believe when it comes to that empty space up high on the shelf, lasting florals have an attractive and practical advantage.

Fresh flowers that are forgotten about can be a messy situation. Lasting floral arrangements are all aesthetics and no worries—perfect for shelf decor.

As for photography—every creative knows it’s always a good idea to have supplies on hand. Be ready when the inspiration strikes with lasting floral arrangements to use as photography props. With colors, textures and shadow shapes ideal for creating stunning product and portrait photos.

A fresh take on dried & fake.

I was on a mission to create a lasting arrangement that wasn’t boring. Using dyed color rich dried florals and hand painted artificial features I came up with a few bouquet styles. Of which, I’m proud to officially offer on Yellow Flower Creative’s first online boutique.

Why Pop-up?

I have only made a select few original pieces for this shop experience. With a limited inventory that will not be continuously replenished, this online boutique will only “pop-up” for special occasions.
